Through intentional camera movement, I’m trying to get closer to the way a subject makes us feel, rather than capturing how it looks: the things we vaguely remember, emotions we struggle to put words to, places that stay with us even after we’ve forgotten their names or precisely where they were, people who become shadows and dreams in our minds. My images are about memory, loss, loneliness, and the spaces between where those feelings live.
